TWO GREAT CONCERTS AT THE CITY HALL!

Felling Male Voice Choir took part in two further concerts at Newcastle City Hall in 1984.

In June, they were invited to be part of “The Best of Tyne and Wear”. Tyne and Wear County Council organised an “Evening of Song and Dance”. Other organisations taking part were Clann Na Gael Irish Dancers, Roker Peers of Harmony, Houghton School Bands, Children of St. Vincent R.C. Primary School, Choir of Gosforth Central Middle School, Maureen McCauley and Norman Grainger.

In December, the choir were invited back to take part in the “Tyne and Wear Brass Band” competition. Other guests included the famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band and Hetton Lyons Male Voice Choir.
