Felling Male Voice Choir were never short of top international entertainers who wanted to sing with them.

And this was the case in 1971 at the Annual Concert in Newcastle City Hall. Clifford Grant was the guest performer. He was a principal bass with the New South Wales Opera Company of Victoria and at the Perth Festival. He broadcast with the Australian Broadcasting Commission, sang with the Welsh National Opera and the San Francisco Opera.

On the evening, he sang “O tu Palermo” from the Sicilian Vespers and a group of Spirituals.

Felling Male Voice Choir performed two new additions to their repertoire – “Viva Tutti” and “Northumbriana”.
