Felling Male Voice Choir were invited to York to perform with the “York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir”.

The weather was atrocious and it rained all day. The venue, which was The Guildhall, was splendid and regal.

The guest artist was the French Horn player, David Keeffe, who had until just before the concert been musical director of the York choir. The performances by both choirs were well received and they joined forces at the end to sing Handel’s “Sound an Alarm”.

After a late arrival home and another wet journey, the guys from Felling were satisfied that they had sung well in such a fine historic building and made many new friends.
