Sixty-five choristers from Felling Male Voice Choir were invited by the organisers of the celebrations to mark the fortieth anniversary of the liberation of the town of Assen. It was April 1985 and this was to be the choir’s second visit to this region of Holland.
They were hosts of the “Asser Mannenkoor”. The choir took part in three evenings of a large Military Tattoo.
The choir also performed in a specially arranged concert in the Josephkerk.
