Felling Male Voice Choir held a Special Commemorative Service at Holly Hill Methodist Church on the 18th October 1970.

This was very fitting for their Golden Jubilee as the choir was formed at the church.

The choir sang some powerful numbers, which included “Pueri Hebracorum”, “Psalm 23”, “Christus Redemptor”, “Llanfair” and “In Nomine Jesu”.

A passionate address was given by the Rev. Wesley Ball, a Canadian Minister.

Hymns included “All hail the power of Jesu’s name”, “Who is on the Lord’s side?”, “Cwm Rhondda” and “Praise ye the Lord!”. The second was a favourite of the founder and first conductor, Mr R Gibbon.
