That was the message that rang out from Felling Male Voice Choir on Monday, 31st May 1993.
They were leaving friends in Assen, Holland on the second leg of their European Tour. Next stop was the former East German City of Leipzig!
A short detour to Hanover was required to pick up the choir’s guide and interpreter for the German stay. And guess what in true English tradition, he was standing by the roadside waving a large Union Jack.
It was not long before the choir witnessed the impact of the former political barriers.
