Dear friend and Patron, if you are already one of our patrons I hope you’ve enjoyed being a supporter of Felling Male Voice Choir during the last year and that you’ve been able to attend at least one of our concerts in addition to the Patrons concert. If you are not yet a patron I’m grateful to you for taking an interest. Your support and encouragement is very much appreciated and so I’d like to invite you to join us in 2019 as a Patron and friend of the choir.
This years Patrons concert will be held on Friday the 11th October at our rehearsal base, Felling Methodist Church. Please put the date in your diary to come along and enjoy an evening of music, where the choir will try out new pieces for you, followed by some light refreshments provided by the members of our Ladies Circle.
If you know of anyone who would like to support the choir by becoming a Patron in our
99th year please let us know by contacting
Mike Scott [email protected] 01912640276
” Felling Male Voice Choir will reach a milestone in 2020 when it proudly celebrates
its centenary – 100 years of entertainment locally, nationally and internationally.
During this time it has strived to perform to the highest standard and we would
like to think that our heritage could be maintained way beyond this landmark
To help us achieve this we shall continue to rely on an income derived solely from
choir members subscriptions, ticket sales, and donations. Donations from any
source are, of course, always very welcome but as a choir member or
friend of the choir, you may like to show your appreciation even further by
remembering us in your will.
There are several forms of legacy e.g. sIngle payment (pecuniary) or a small
share of the remainder of your estate (residuary) or property (specific).
The procedure in making a bequest in a will or codicil is quite straightforward
and your solicitor or legal advisor would be able to complete the formalities.
They would also advise you on the possibility of tax relief benefits.
Should you wish to discuss matters with us then please contact the Choir
Secretary, Mike Scott
