Felling Male Voice Choir took the opportunity in 1989 at their Annual Concert at Newcastle City Hall to celebrate 100 years of male voice singing.

Their guests for the evening were the famous “Jayess Queensbury Band” who were making a return visit.

The choir did a review of male voice singing over the previous 100 years. The programme included “Feasting I Watch”, “She Walks in Beauty”, “Crossing the Bar”, “In St. Paul’s” and “The Last Words of David”.

The choir and band came together for “Music”, the “Peer’s Chorus” and “Love is the Answer”.

The concert was held in association with Rotary International.
