Felling Male Voice Choir have performed at some prestigious venues over the years. But in 1994, they performed at a strange time but in a magnificent setting.
No it was not a medieval banquet or “murder mystery”! In July, they were invited to sing four songs at about eleven o’ clock in the evening in Warwick Castle. The occasion was the meeting of the Commonwealth Games swimming representatives. They were performing a song from each of the UK countries and then some North Country songs to end the evening.
After assembling in one of the Castle reception rooms, they were led by torch through the castle grounds to the Great Hall.
At the end of their performance, they returned home.
