GREAT APPLE PIE IN RUSHTON!

Another great highlight of Felling Male Voice Choir’s experience at the “1000 Welsh Male Voices” concert at the Royal Albert Hall was the homemade apple and cream in Rushton!

On their return home from the London concert in October 1986, the choir stopped in Rushton, Northamptonshire for lunch. Everyone expressed their thanks for the spread but especially the apple pie by an expatriate Welsh lady.

Then it was to the 12th Century Rothwell Parish Church for a concert. After tea, a rendition of “Myfanwy” in Welsh as a vote of thanks.
