Felling Male Voice Choir certainly “pushed the boat out” for their Diamond Jubilee Dinner.

The venue was Lumley Castle and it was held on the 17th October 1980, within 2 days of their formation date. It was back on the 15th October 1920 when their first conductor, Mr R Gibbon, formed the choir.

One of the main speakers on the evening was founder member, Tom Usher, who reflected on the previous 60 years.
