Felling Male Voice Choir have enjoyed playing with some of the best brass bands in the country.

They were privileged to invite the famous “Chalk Farm Band” of the Salvation Army as the guest artists at the choir’s Annual Concert at Newcastle City Hall in 1991. The band had made many appearances on BBC’s “Blue Peter” and “Songs of Praise”.

The choir produced a very varied opening quarter of the programme with “Comedy Tonight”. The second spot was dedicated to the “Songs of Wales”. The third remembered the best of male voice singing while the final section included five new arrangements from the new cassette “We Got Rhythm”.

The concert ended with the choir and the band joining in the “Sunshine Medley” by Chris Wiltshire.
