Felling Male Voice Choir performed an excellent range of concerts across the North of England in 1991.

The year started with a great joint concert with the G & S in Felling. There were also concerts in the King’s Hall, Newcastle for the RSPB, St. Joseph’s Church in Birtley, the Methodist Church in Heaton and for the Old People’s Association in Brampton.

Later in the year, the choir sang for the RNLI in Seaton Sluice, at Workington for St. Michael’s Church and in Bedlington for the Salvation Army. The concert in Washington Parish Church with the Richardson Singers had a varied and entertaining programme which was well received by the large audience.

In October, the choir performed in the Spennymoor Leisure Centre for Amnesty International.

In November, the choir sang in the Teesdale Sports Centre with the Barnard Castle Brass Band to support the RAOB. They also performed in Morpeth for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Christmas Carols and other popular music was sung in the Metro Centre to help raise money for local charities.
