Stuart Dearlove, the retiring Chairman of Felling Male Voice Choir said “I’m standing down now in our Centenary year to make room for others to use their passion and enthusiasm to take this great and renowned choir forward into its next hundred years.”

At last night’s Annual General Meeting of the choir, a number of changes of officers were implemented.

Eddie Palmer took over the role as Chairman. His former role of Vice Chair was filled by Brian Robinson.

After 16 years, Mike Killen stood down as Treasurer and was replaced by John Armstrong. Ray Dean, Assistant Treasurer, also stood down and was replaced by Peter Allan Robson.

Mike Scott and Ted Marley retained their roles as Secretary and Assistant Secretary respectively.

Ian McCredie stood down from the committee. John Stunt was joined by new members – Dennis Barkwill and Kevin Lillie.

Dr. Gordon Adam, the choir’s President thanked all retiring officers for their work on behalf of the choir and wished new members the best of luck in their new roles.
