1992 turned out to be another year when Felling Male Voice Choir was travelling to various communities across the North of England.

The choir started the year with a Patron’s Evening in Heworth School. They then gave concerts in Heaton Methodist Church and for the Old People’s Association in Brampton. The choir journeyed to Skelton and sang to a very enthusiastic audience in the Methodist Church.

In July, the choir sang in Lyndhurst Avenue United Reformed Church, Low Fell in aid of the building fund. The choir also hosted a joint concert in Newcastle with the Stevenage Ladies Choir.

The first concert of the Autumn was in St. Oswald’s RC Church in Wrekenton. In September, the choir sang at two schools associated to choir members. In October, there was a second Patron’s Evening.

The choir then travelled to Carlisle to sing in the Currock Methodist Church. On a wet November night, they sang in Blyth at St. Cuthbert’s Church.

The year ended with a number of successful appearances at the Metro Centre which helped to supplement funds for a busy 1993.
