Felling Male Voice Choir’s Annual Concerts at Newcastle City Hall were proving to be so popular!
In 1972, another record was broken. The choir invited top tenor soloist Stuart Burrows back to support them – Not just for One Concert but Two!
4,000 people travelled from Berwick upon Tweed to Chesterfield and they were not to be disappointed. The choir was at its largest ever with 98 singers on stage and 4 others in the hall.
The climax of both evenings was when the audience joined the choir to sing Parry’s fine setting of William Blake’s “Jerusalem”.
